Job Description:

Citi's Internal Audit (IA) division provides independent assessments of the company's governance, risk management and internal control environment for key stakeholders including the Board of Directors, senior management, and Citi’s numerous regulators globally. IA is a change agent within Citi to enhance the control culture of Citigroup worldwide and thereby support senior management decision making around the globe.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide assurance for, and coordinate 3rd line activities related to the technology aspects of the key Article V (Data) transformation workstream
  • Represent IA Data Technology transformation with senior stakeholders in the first and second line as well as regulators
  • Deliver multiple current audit validations to specification
  • Ensure timely delivery of comprehensive regulatory and internal audit issue validation
  • Contribute to the delivery of reports outlining IA’s contributions
  • Improve the identification, measurement, management, reporting and controls in governance, risk and control environments
  • Support and endorse the Quality Assurance (QA) function of IA
  • Ensure the adoption of Citigroup and Citibank Audit Committee Charters and the IA Charter
  • Oversee various tasks to build the audit team

Requirements:

  • Data and Technology hands-on experience
  • Extensive Internal Audit experience from within the Technology Transformation space or 2LOD
  • A strong understanding of how Technology risk and controls can adversely impact the delivery of Article V
  • Adaptable/knowledgeable over the linkage between Data and Technology in Article V
  • Demonstrated success in business, functional and people management
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • 15+ years of experience in a related role
  • Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
