Job Description:

Our Internal Audit internship experience is an 11-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 26th, 2026, and concludes on August 7th, 2026. This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in office with the other 2 days each week working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. Job Locations: Cumberland, RI; Hartford, CT; Northbrook, IL; Scottsdale, AZ. The program offers comprehensive exposure to the audit lifecycle, mentoring from experienced auditors, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects supporting CVS Health's Internal Audit Department.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform and document audit activities in accordance with professional standards and the organization’s audit methodology
  • Execute testing and create work paper documentation
  • Meeting with colleagues throughout the enterprise to understand and document business processes under audit
  • Perform detail testing as defined by the test program to define, analyze, and validate information
  • Demonstrate a commitment to integrity and the company code of conduct, and a respect for diversity and inclusion
  • Contribute to overall Internal Audit Department team norms to promote a positive environment and improve team effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Meet educational requirements (see education section)
  • Ability to work full time for the duration of the internship program

  • Have experience with Microsoft excel to maintain spreadsheets and perform moderately complex functions
