Develop and execute an internal corporate communication strategy and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for internal communication for South Africa that aligns to the overarching communications strategy
Demonstrate flexibility in planning and executing communications across both internal and external channels, maintaining consistent messaging and alignment with business priorities
Lead on the development and execution of EVP and Inclusion agenda in partnership with SA CHRO and HR team
Lead communications with CHRO around organizational change by acting as key advisor on channels and content

Requirements:
Communications / Marketing Degree
Additional Digital Communications Certificate or Diploma would be advantageous
Understanding of the SA Business, its diversity and specific needs
Proven ability to drive an effective and innovative internal comms agenda in SA with multiple stakeholders and collaborators and get results
Extensive experience of advising, and influencing, senior executive level management on business communications agenda with proven results
An excellent track record of developing communications tools and programmes to engage employees across diverse functions
Ability to think strategically and creatively and to be agile as business needs change
Ability to inspire and work with teams, with varying complex challenges, spread across geographies
Effective multi-tasker with strong time management skills and an ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
Knowledge of graphic design and experience producing corporate communications materials
Strong communicator and story-teller
Excellent people/collaborative skills - ability to set the agenda and lead in an inclusive manner – must want to make people follow him/her and deliver their best as a team
Ability to manage external agencies and deliver projects on budget and on time
7 years of experience in corporate communications with preferred mass communications experience across diverse workforces
