As the Lufthansa Group Business Services’ employee you will become part of the organization that supports the aviation business. Our teams handle accounting, look after our customers' employees, run procurement processes and take care of IT applications. Job Responsibility:

  • Execute monthly CO closing including COPA (profitability analysis), cost allocations, distributions, and reconciliations to provide accurate controlling data
  • Maintain and manage SAP master data (cost centers, PSP elements) and coordinate budget implementation for customer companies
  • Continuously develop and optimize SAP CO processes (CCA, PCA, COPA, S/4HANA), including automation and reporting enhancements
  • Translate business needs into technical SAP requirements, test new functionalities, and ensure quality assurance
  • Drive finance-related projects independently, including process optimization, ERP/SAP implementation, and migration initiatives
  • Act as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders, deliver workshops, training, and professional consultations
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting standards, Group regulations, and audit requirements
  • Promote continuous improvement and best practices within finance processes

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Business Informatics
  • Professional finance certifications (ACCA, CMA, Bilanzbuchhalter) or relevant controlling courses will be a plus
  • Project management experience in finance, process optimization, or ERP/SAP projects
  • Solid understanding of controlling and financial steering (cost allocation, budgeting, reporting)
  • Expertise in P2P, O2C, RTR, master data, invoicing, reconciliations, and period-end closing
  • Advanced SAP CO skills
  • Excellent Excel and MS Office skills
  • Very good English and German (B2+)
  • Communication and presentation skills
