At tmGroup, we’re transforming conveyancing with smarter, faster, and more connected technology solutions. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Internal Account Manager to join our commercial team and play a key role in nurturing and growing our existing client base. This role is all about relationships, insight, and opportunity. You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive a consistently excellent service while identifying opportunities to enhance their use of our products and services. Working consultatively, you’ll help clients improve their workflows while driving sustainable revenue growth.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and retain a portfolio of circa 90 existing clients, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, fee earners, and support staff
Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, communicating via phone, email, and online review meetings
Monitor client spend and usage data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth or re-engagement
Proactively identify and convert upsell opportunities across tmGroup products and services
Arrange and deliver platform demonstrations, training sessions, and quarterly business reviews where appropriate
Work closely with Client Services, Business Development, and Sales colleagues to ensure a seamless client journey
Take ownership of declining spend or engagement, implementing appropriate actions to retain and grow accounts
Provide weekly activity and performance updates and consistently achieve quarterly targets and KPIs
Attend team meetings, training sessions, and quarterly sales meetings (online and in person)
Requirements:
Proven experience in B2B or B2C internal sales or account management, ideally within the property or legal sector
Demonstrable experience of retaining and growing existing client accounts through consultative selling
Evidence of consistently achieving or exceeding sales or revenue targets
Confident analysing data to identify client trends, risks, and upsell opportunities
Comfortable managing a high volume of clients and activity in a structured, organised way
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
A proactive, self-starting mindset with a “get up and go” attitude
Strong relationship-building skills — sales-focused without being hard sell
Positive, resilient, and customer-focused
Able to learn quickly and confidently promote multiple products and platforms
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Accurate, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
