To engage the intern in a professional setting and provide him or her with the chance to apply the theoretical learning of the classroom to practical situations, activities and challenges. To create an experience affording the student the opportunity to explore his/her educational and career interests while pursuing useful work for his or her host department. To facilitate the requirements for students and professionals seeking academic credit, fulfilling college or university requirements and educational enrichment.
Job Responsibility:
Keep a portfolio of impressions and experiences, such as journals, visual materials and completed projects
Research and implement a project as designated by the host department
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the host department
Requirements:
Successfully completed 1st and 2nd years of study in an accredited college or university
Enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of study or in an advanced degree program at an accredited college or university
Team Player: Works well as a member of a group (Preferred)
Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest (Preferred)
Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization (Preferred)
