Job Description:

Internship in the field of Aircraft Airframe Development within the RFE (Rear Fuselage End) Airframe engineering department. You will join the VTP design office in Hamburg, within the RFE Airframe Engineering, a dynamic and transnational team. You will be part of the stress team and involved in airframe development activities strongly focused on innovation and sustainability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contribute to the development of the next improved VTP structures, dealing on a daily basis with state-of-art CFRP design and sizing methodologies
  • Be in touch with the manufacturing site and obtain an end-to-end view of the product, from the idealization phase until in-service deployment
  • Working in an environment striving for innovation and sustainability as top priorities

Requirements:

  • Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or similar field of study
  • Basics in structural calculations, basic competencies in the field of light structures
  • Experience in FEM would be beneficial
  • You are an autonomous student, a team player as well as a good communicator (d/f/m)
  • Fluent English language skills, German would be a plus
