Job Description

Redwire Space is looking for summer interns in various disciplines to help participate in developing National Security Space mission critical solutions. As a National Security Space intern at Redwire you will be working alongside our professional team of experts. We will provide you with an internship that will last approximately 10 weeks during which you will be performing hands-on meaningful projects aligned with our company goals and objectives. This opportunity will fully immerse you in our technology and culture for an invaluable and rewarding experience.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a nationally accredited University or College, pursuing either a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Payloads/Structures, Project Management, Marketing/Communications, Research and Development, Business Development, or Systems Engineering
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be passionate about space

  • Acts as the Critical Spares Program Administrator, coordinating and compiling departmental inputs on behalf of the Critical Spares Program
  • Provides oversight to the QA staff assigned to the Business Operations department as directed by the DM/QA Supervisor
  • Provides oversight of the Technical Order Distribution Office (TODO) duties performed by the QA department for Technical Orders (TOs), Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), and Computer Program Identification Numbers (CPINs)
