Job Description

As Intern SEA Performance Marketing, you will support our in-house team in the planning, execution and optimisation of paid search campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. You will gain hands-on experience in performance marketing, working on real campaigns that drive growth and impact across multiple markets. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge of digital advertising while working in a data-driven and collaborative environment. The position is limited to 6 months and based in Munich.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the Search Engine Advertising team in daily campaign operations such as keyword research, ad copy reviews and campaign setup
  • Assist in monitoring performance and spotting trends through data collection and analysis
  • Help prepare performance reports and competitor benchmarking to support optimisation decisions
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions with ideas on bidding strategies, audience targeting and testing opportunities
  • Stay up to date with search engine updates, industry innovations, and the integration of generative AI and automation trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Analytics, Product Marketing and Design to ensure campaign alignment

Requirements

  • A strong interest in digital marketing, performance advertising and e-commerce
  • First experience or exposure to SEA through studies, internships or personal learning (e.g. Google Ads, Microsoft Ads)
  • Analytical thinking and basic understanding of metrics such as CTR, CPC and ROAS
  • Curiosity and a proactive mindset, with an eagerness to learn and test new features and tools
  • A structured, detail-oriented, and collaborative working style
  • Fluency in English
