Job Description

The Research and Technology Program Office is responsible for the strategic development of Bombardier’s technology. This includes defining the technology roadmap in collaboration with the engineering functional teams, establishing and tracking the R&T budget, setting up collaborations, and managing funding streams.

Job Responsibility

  • Participate in the coordination of collaborative research and technology projects with industry, academia, and government partners by identifying and implementing improvements to tools and processes
  • Drive projects to success by maintaining governance, following up and closing actions, and ensuring documentation of lessons learned
  • Satisfy your thirst for knowledge by actively researching the technical aspects of new and ongoing projects, enabling you to be an active participant and valuable contributor
  • Assist in the coordination of financial reporting for various funding mechanisms within the Research and Technology Office

Requirements

  • Enrolled in the second or third year of university with an interest in Aerospace Engineering, Product Development, and Continuous Improvement
  • Keep abreast with the latest technological developments and have a flair for research
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail and identify as a self-starter
  • Great communication skills in English
  • Familiar with Power BI and all Microsoft Office 365 Tools
