Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of cutting-edge technology acquisition opportunities for machining, sheet metal, composite, and assembly sectors, enabling the organization to achieve technological excellence
  • Manage initiatives related to continuous improvement in manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Contribute to defining project delivery strategies: scope, content, resources, schedule, cost, risks, quality management, communications, and training
  • Manage activities across all project phases: feasibility study, project charter and business case, acquisition, implementation, and production launch
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and resource availability
  • Prepare and present project status updates to various management levels
  • Align the work of involved resources and act as an interface between different matrix organizations
  • Manage change requests occurring during project execution
  • Develop risk management plans, including mitigation strategies
  • Participate in problem-solving and recovery plans
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes

Requirements:

  • You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automated Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or have other relevant experience
  • You have an interest in managing complex projects in the aerospace industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational abilities
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Passion for achieving technological excellence
  • Ability to work in both English and French, verbally and in writing

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of MS Project
