Job Description:

Working in the powertrain department you will be working on the design and development of Harbinger’s future Electric Drive Unit (EDU) within the Advanced Engineering team. The EDU has been designed and developed wholly in-house by Harbinger. The role will include the design and development testing of new ideas and product features. Our interns are given a project (or projects) to own and deliver during their time with us. We are a fast paced team and there is plenty of opportunity to learn.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and analysis components for future EDU product
  • Conduct development tests to prove out new features and components
  • Investigation of development issues
  • Design improvements and adaptation for manufacturing processes

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate for Mechanical Engineering or similar applicable degree
  • Work authorized in the United States OR ability to obtain J-1/F-1 visa
  • Working knowledge of CAD design software
  • Good fundamental knowledge of engineering principals
  • Ability to learn fast and be adaptable to new challenges
