The Florida State University and Legends Global (a global premium-experiences company) began a formal marketing-partnership relationship in July 2024, Florida State Global Partnerships (FSGP) handling multimedia rights for FSU Athletics. The partnership places Legends in a central role driving revenue strategy and execution for athletics.

Job Responsibility:

  • Primary responsibilities include the execution of contractually promised assets to corporate partners with an overarching goal to encourage continued patronage of partners through renewals while serving as an extension of the sales representative
  • Serve as primary contact for corporate partners on a day-to-day basis
  • Creation of proof of performance documents
  • Promotion ideation, development and execution
  • Willingness and ability to work within a team environment
  • Collaboration and integration skills related to internal and external meetings
  • Event oversight and creation
  • Gameday event oversight
  • Represent the University sports property, the University, and Legends Global in a professional manner
  • Build strong understanding of all University and Legends Global business units and offerings in order to leverage new business areas, leads, and categories
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be no more than 4 months away from obtaining Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required
  • 1 year or related experience in revenue generation, sponsorship sales, or marketing within collegiate athletics, professional sports, media, or a related industry
  • Basic understanding of sponsorship negotiation and partner activation
  • Willingness to collaborate within university or multi-stakeholder environments
  • Basic understanding of marketing, CRM, and data analytics tools used in sports business
