Job Description

We are looking for a Modelling & Simulation Intern to contribute to the development of the Next-Generation Landing Gear. The role includes development of Behavioral Models (1D), System Architecture Definition, Detailed Interface Definition, Control Logics Development and Safety Analysis. The candidate will obtain hands-on experience of product development from scratch, including requirements definition, system architecture definition based on safety and stakeholder requirements and the leveraging of Modelling and Simulation for system studies and analysis.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop, define and update System Architecture Models, Functional, Logical and Technical Layers to aid deployment of MBSE for product development
  • For the identified System Architecture, deploy system safety analysis studies
  • Definition of Landing Gear System Interfaces adhering to Functional and Safety needs
  • Development 1D Behavioral Models to aid product development based on the System Architecture defined (Load Analysis and Functional Analysis)
  • Exploring and Implementing Landing Gear Prognostic Health Monitoring functions for viability studies
  • Interaction with cross-functional teams part of the broader Landing Gear team to meet business requirements

Requirements

  • General awareness of Landing Gear systems
  • Good Understanding of engineering fundamentals, system dynamics and use of first principles
  • Architectural Modelling: Basic knowledge of SysML and RFLP. Logical, Analytical and Critical thinking
  • 1D Behavioral Modelling: Experience with MATLAB-Simulink. Scripting Knowledge in MATLAB or Python
  • Basic knowledge of Control Systems
  • Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and self-development
