Job Description

As an Intern in Merchandise Planning at Zalando, you will be a strategic addition to a team dedicated to professional excellence. You will help maximize our potential by executing high-value projects and mainteance tasks that directly elevate our departmental output. This role is deigned for those who want to bridge the gap between operational stabilty and long-term process innovation.

Job Responsibility

  • Strategic Support: Monitor intake handling to reduce late delivery stocks and provide a single source of truth for team decision-making
  • Weekly Trading: Monitor and report on sales performance, taking proactive steps to suggest re-orders or price adjustments that keep our assortment fresh and relevant
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Manage the end-to-end administrative flow of our purchase reorders, ensuring high data accuracy within our systems
  • Demand & Stock Management: Proactively manage stock levels to minimize overstock risks and therefore handle return negotiations
  • Analyse for Impact: Prepare detailed weekly reports to provide actionable insights for team decision-making
