Job Description:

As part of your internship, you will work on evaluating innovative surface coatings for metallic components in vehicle bodies. You will have access to state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and the opportunity to apply and further develop your practical skills.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and carry out experimental investigations such as bending tests, tensile tests, microstructural analyses, and welding tests in our materials laboratories
Prepare and analyze samples of metallic materials using modern testing equipment
Evaluate and present the test results to internal and external partners
Leverage our corporate network and exchange ideas with the brands of Volkswagen AG

Requirements:

Passion and interest in materials and welding technology
Initial experience in practical laboratory work
Enjoy exploring future material innovations for sustainable mobility
You like working both independently and as part of a team
German and English language skills at B2 level
