Job Description:

The L&G Dublin Investment internship is an 8-week programme, running from June to August. During this time, you’ll have the chance to develop your skills, gain valuable insights, and get hands-on work experience. You will be assigned to one of our Dublin Investment teams for your 8-week placement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing research and due‑diligence tasks to support decision‑making
  • Collating information for reporting
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations for meetings
  • Liaising with key stakeholders and improving team processes with fresh perspectives and ideas
  • Learning new skills and gaining knowledge of how our business works
  • Collaborating with other internal departments and teams
  • Having guidance from your team and manager, who will support you and teach you the day‑to‑day role
  • Being part of a big team and developing your collaboration skills
  • Having the opportunity to meet and network with new colleagues within your team and across the wider organisation

Requirements:

  • On track for a 2.1 Degree in any subject
  • In your penultimate year of University (i.e. graduating in 2027)
  • B or higher in Leaving Cert honours maths
  • Curious, motivated and have a desire to learn more about a career in Investment Management
  • Analytical mind-set
  • Great communication skills
  • Flexible and a team-player
  • High levels of energy, dynamism and commitment
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
