Gain insight into a busy Hotel IT Cluster environment that supports multiple hotels and offices; Understand the trouble shooting techniques used to support both Hotel and managed offices team members; Become familiar with Hotel Departments and the key role that the IT Discipline plays in supporting the business; Focus on attention to detail and communication to deliver a superior level of support to Marriott Associates and our valued customers; Participate and partner with IT and hotel teams on key IT projects being initiated.
Job Responsibility:
Systems Management of Windows 2016/2019/2022 Server Operating Systems and VMWare ESXI v7.0/8.0 environments
Security Patch deployment of desktops and servers including restarts
Imaging of Desktop Operating Systems and Desktop Management
Complete Guest In Room Technology audits, WI-Fi testing and reporting of incidents
Setup of Company Outlook email and approved mobile devices
Assist with the completion of company audit requirements and System Access Management (User ID) record up keeping
Compliance to all of the Company’s technical standards and policies
Support and compliance to company PCI (Payment Card Industry) initiatives and standards
Updating of technical documentation including network diagrams and contingency plans
Perform updates and maintain Property IT Asset Tracking records
Work in an IT Cluster team environment and performing onsite and remote support tasks as required
Maintain a high level of communication with all Marriott IT Associates providing updates on tasks assigned in a timely manner
Champion Net70 initiatives including guest contact during peak periods and data analysis
Active participation on weekly/ bi-monthly calls with other Australia IT Cluster Associates and Asia Pacific Marriott IT teams
Be available to assist with other hotel departments if called upon for miscellaneous duties.
Requirements:
System-related professional certifications desired
Demonstrated skills in support of applications, hardware, operating systems, and telecommunications
Ability to multi-task effectively while setting priorities and meeting deadlines
Functions well in a matrix management environment
Demonstrated skills in trouble-shooting and resolving problems around PCs, operating systems, servers, peripherals, etc.
