Job Description:

Internship role at Climeworks, a leading carbon removal provider, to support testing, validation, and development of technology in a dynamic, purpose-driven team environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the rapid testing and validation of innovative technology ideas and concepts
  • Contribute to the further development of our small to midscale test facilities
  • Assist in exploring and analyzing the adsorption/desorption process
  • Conduct literature reviews and market research to identify and evaluate measurement methods
  • Carry out various testing methods, critically assess the resulting data
  • Evaluate the feasibility and practicality of different measurement approaches

Requirements:

  • Recently completed a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Process Engineering, Materials Science or a related field, or currently enrolled in a Master’s program
  • Solid understanding of small to mediumscale test setups as well as measurement techniques, fluid dynamics and thermodynamics
  • Work flexibly and creatively, especially when dealing with incomplete information or unknown variables
  • Dependable, performancedriven and maintain an organized and methodical approach to tasks
  • Thrive in fastpaced team settings but are equally comfortable working independently
  • Fluent in English
  • German is an advantage
  • Available for a fulltime, 6month internship ideally starting in March/April 2026
