Job Responsibility

  • Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Help organize and participate in mass recruitment activities for pre-opening hotel projects
  • Support the implementation and usage of corporate recruitment tools
  • Assist in the enrollment process for eligible management associates in benefit programs
  • Help conduct salary and benefits surveys
  • Support annual Human Capital Planning activities and reviews
  • Assist in executing Personal Development Plans across the market
  • Assist in coordinating property visits and HR audits
  • Support the preparation of pre-opening Human Resources Budgets for new hotel projects
  • Assist in disseminating information between regional/corporate offices and properties
  • Support and assist in HR administrative tasks and reporting
  • Help maintain accurate HR records and databases
  • Assist in preparing HR reports and presentations as needed
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Co-facilitate proactive and productive associate relations activities and projects
  • Follow through with associate relations activities that align with Marriott International’s business priorities
  • Log, assist, and close investigation cases and/or projects in a timely manner
  • Research new and emerging associate relations practices, trends, and legislation
  • Assist in coordinating training programs and new hire orientation
  • Support the coordination of teambuilding programs and regional office orientation for new General Managers
  • Update and maintain L&D platforms (e.g., Intranet, SharePoint sites)
  • Assist in setting up survey-related forms and/or weblinks
  • Use different learning platforms (NovoEd, mHUB, etc.)
  • Partner with internal team members to ensure HR Operations project activities are launched on time and stakeholders are positively engaged

Requirements

  • Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Resident Holder, or valid student pass / work holiday pass
  • Eligible for undergraduate in a Singapore registered university program / undergraduate or graduate of a university in Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom, or United States
  • Prepared to commit to a six months’ internship
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per Marriott standards
  • Ability to learn quickly and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Detailed-oriented, structured, and organized
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
  • Excellent Analytical and Numeracy Skills
  • Undergraduate in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business Management, Hospitality Management preferred
