Intern - Housekeeping

• Support the housekeeping team in maintaining guest rooms, corridors and public areas to the highest cleanliness and presentation standards
• Learn and follow housekeeping procedures, safety guidelines and brand standards
• Assist with room servicing, including bed making, bathroom cleaning and restocking amenities
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items or guest requests promptly and accurately
• Support linen handling, supplies management and trolley organisation
• Work alongside supervisors to understand daily room allocations and priorities
• Maintain a professional, discreet and respectful presence in guest areas at all times
• Contribute to a positive team environment through reliability, collaboration and willingness to learn
• Uphold hygiene, health and safety standards throughout all tasks

• A genuine interest in hospitality and a desire to learn about housekeeping operations
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to take direction
• Good communication skills and a respectful, professional manner
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow set procedures
• Physical capacity to perform housekeeping duties within a busy environment
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays as required
• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential
