Job Responsibility:
Carrying out 3D modelling with software such as Sketchup etc.
Perform solar energy production analysis from designed PV systems
Collaborate with other engineers to design photovoltaic (PV) systems, including system components to suit site condition and in accordance with solar engineering standards (IEC, Singapore Standards etc)
Assist in ongoing design and development of electrical single-line diagram, panel schedules and connection diagram for solar electric systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software
Assist Solar Engineer to prepare review of PV system specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives
Assist engineer in conducting site-survey to gather information for the design
Assist engineers to prepare, manage and follow up Project Documentation
Build professional relationships with colleagues and other interns
Actively participate in orientation and training programs
Requirements:
Nitec, Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline preferred)
