Job Description:

The Spec Analytics Analyst is a trainee professional role requiring good knowledge of processes, procedures, and systems. Responsibilities include working with complex data sets, documenting data requirements, and performing data analysis using programming tools. Possible specialization areas include marketing, risk, digital, and AML fields.

Job Responsibility:

Work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies
identify and compile data sets using a variety of tools (e.g. SQL, Access) to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business to business outcomes
responsible for documenting data requirements, data collection / processing / cleaning, and exploratory data analysis
which may include utilizing statistical models / algorithms and data visualization techniques
assess risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.

Requirements:

Previous related experience preferred
have the ability to retrieve and manipulation data
working experience in a quantitative field
possess analytic ability and problem solving skills
excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized, detail oriented, and adaptive to matrix work environment
licenciatura en matemáticas, informática, ingeniería, ciencias actuariales, economía u otro campo cuantitativo
conocimientos básicos de programación en SQL, Python, Pyspark, Excel, SAS
conocimientos básicos de modelos predictivos y sus componentes.
