Job Description

As Intern Communications – Corporate & Employer Branding, you will be an important member of the Corporate Communication team and work closely with various departments at Westwing. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as supporting the growth of our Westwing LinkedIn account, writing press releases and providing day-to-day support. This position is limited to 6 months and based in Munich. Our preferred start date is June/July 2026.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the planning, creation, and reporting of content for our LinkedIn strategy and other corporate communication channels
  • Contribute to the development of employer branding content (e.g. for LinkedIn, the career site, and internal communications)
  • Research relevant topics for Corporate Communications and Employer Branding and assist in writing corporate press releases
  • Identify interview & speaking opportunities for the C-level and prepare professional briefing documents
  • Assist in researching trends and best practices in employer branding to continuously improve our communication strategy
  • Independently manage various administrative tasks, including reporting, the clipping process, and maintenance of press distribution lists
  • Support the day-to-day business across Corporate and Employer Branding Communications topics

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations
  • Ideally, you have already gained initial practical experience in a communications-related role or a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent professional proficiency in both German and English, with a sharp eye for storytelling and corporate tone
  • Strong prioritisation skills and an independent working style that allows you to manage multiple projects at once
  • A friendly, creative, and motivated personality with a hands-on approach to every task you take on
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint) and a general affinity for digital communication tools, prior experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus
  • Initial experience or a strong curiosity in using AI tools to enhance storytelling, social media management, and content efficiency
