Job Responsibility:
Conduct a thorough review of the latest scientific and technological developments in this field
Perform material characterizations using advanced testing methods, such as tensile tests, bending tests, hardness measurements, and microscopy
Analyze and interpret test data in close collaboration with experienced team members
Assess the potential of innovative steel materials for use in automotive body structures
Prepare clear, well-structured reports and deliver presentations in internal meetings
Requirements:
Students of Materials Science, Surface Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
Solid understanding of materials and material testing methods, ideally with a focus on steel
Strong academic performance
Precise and reliable working style as well as strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
German and English language level B2
