As Intern Business Development, you will support and drive various business development initiatives within the newly formed Stores business unit. This unique role offers a steep learning curve in a startup-like setting, where you take responsibility from day one. You will work closely with a highly talented, dynamic, diverse team. This position is limited to 6 months and located in Munich.
Job Responsibility:
Support in solving diverse business development topics (e.g., expansion, strategic planning, operations & logistics, data analysis)
Own and drive small to medium projects (e.g. concept-to-rollout initiatives with suppliers and internal teams), coordinating with stakeholders across and outside the organisation to find pragmatic solutions
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to enable fact-based decisions, including leveraging AI where relevant
Selectively support other Retail Store team members with project-based tasks (e.g., Store openings, Training)
Work closely with our Retail Store Managers, the Head of Stores, as well as team members across all business functions
Requirements:
University degree (bachelor's or master's) in the making
First professional experience (ideally in consulting or business development/operations department)
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, …)
Ability to handle small to medium projects with limited supervision/ independently
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a “make-it-work” attitude
Team-oriented and collaborative approach to work and a passion for improvements
Excellent communication skills in German and English, including strong oral and writing capabilities
