Our team at the BMW Group is dedicated to developing intelligent tools and advancing product engineering through Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Geometric Deep Learning. Here, you will support the creation of innovative solutions for virtual vehicle development.

Job Responsibility:

  • Gain insight into developing new technologies for virtual vehicle development at BMW
  • Support working with state-of-the-art generative models for 2D and 3D data using deep neural networks and advanced visualizations
  • Help to develop novel methods using AI to optimize and revolutionize product development
  • Contribute to a motivated team at the BMW Research and Innovation Center (FIZ) in Munich
  • Support research-oriented tasks and have the opportunity to contribute to publications

Requirements:

  • Studies in data science, computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch
  • Theoretical knowledge of machine learning, deep learning and optimization
  • High level of personal initiative and strong drive to innovate
  • Business fluent in English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with 3D data such as point clouds or meshes is a plus
  • German is a plus
