Execute and analyze numerical simulations to study heat transfer characteristics in composite materials exposed to fire, directly contributing to a new fire risk assessment model
To develop a numerical model for fire risk assessment for component/material qualification
Support in literature survey, conceptualization, methodology development and validation of the numerical models to deliver accurate predictions on burner calibration, fire tests and thermal analysis
Develop and validate numerical model methodologies to support material fire resistance and heat transfer analysis
Requirements:
Strong fundamental knowledge in Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Combustion science and if possible fire proof certification
Knowledge of Composites will be preferred
Preferable knowledge of numerical modeling, 1D analysis and CFD (computational fluid dynamic) methods and tools
Ability to explore open source tools
