Job Responsibility
Perform detailed Purchase Price Variance (PPV) analysis at transaction level to identify root causes of price changes and validate automated conclusions
Support development and improvement of automated PPV analysis tools and management reports to enhance insight into procurement performance
Use available tools (Excel, BI, SAP) to analyze transaction-level data and support investigation of flagged variances
Investigate and explain drivers of PPV by reviewing pricing data, purchase orders, and system records, and distinguish between true business impact and data/accounting issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, AP, Master Data) to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial data
Perform freely, and in a timely manner, necessary updates related to daily and weekly tasks
Requirements
Working toward a bachelor's or master's degree in finance/accounting/economics
Good Excel skills (PivotTables, formulas, data analysis)
Basic knowledge of SAP or willingness to learn and work with transactional data
Basic understanding of financial concepts (e.g., cost structure, pricing, variances)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
English fluency and good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Curious mindset and willingness to investigate data discrepancies and challenge results
Having basic skills in Power BI will be an asset
Communication skills and ability to work in a multinational environment
Availability at min 25-30 hours per week
