Job Description:

We are seeking an Intermediate Software Developer with 5–7 years of experience to join our team. This role is a hybrid of high-quality Java/Spring Boot development and critical L2/L3 production support. You will be responsible for building secure, scalable REST APIs while ensuring the stability of mission-critical systems through incident triage, root-cause analysis (RCA), and performance tuning. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can translate complex requirements into production-ready code within an Agile framework.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and maintain secure Java services and REST APIs using Spring Boot (Java 11+)
  • Ensure reliable system-to-system communication using REST and SOAP protocols
  • integrate external and AI-backed services securely
  • Design schemas and optimize complex SQL queries (Oracle/PostgreSQL) to support data-driven application features
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito
  • participate in rigorous code reviews
  • Triage L2/L3 incidents, adhere to SLAs, and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence
  • Contribute to automated deployment pipelines using Git, Docker, and Jenkins
  • support automated diagnostics and health checks

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in Java SE/EE, Spring Boot, and n-tier enterprise application design
  • Extensive experience designing and supporting REST and SOAP APIs with advanced validation and error handling
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle design concepts, including schema design and performance tuning
  • Proven track record in Production Support & Incident Management, including runbook usage and SLA compliance
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git branching strategies, and containerization basics (Docker)
  • Excellent verbal and written skills for collaborating with architects, BAs, and product owners in Agile sprints

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns and AI-backed service integration
  • Experience with tools like GitHub Copilot or Azure OpenAI to enhance coding productivity and quality
