Intermediate/Senior mechanical draftsperson - building services

• Produce and coordinate detailed mechanical shop drawings for HVAC and piping systems
• Work across a variety of commercial and institutional projects, including hospitals, data centres, and high-rise developments
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and site requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design and coordination issues
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, Australian standards, and relevant codes
• Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings using BIM and 3D modelling tools
• Support junior drafters and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices

• Drafting experience in the building services sector in Australia
• Strong experience producing shop drawings for large, complex piping systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Excellent understanding of mechanical services systems and construction methodologies
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications with confidence
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
