An ambitious, design-led Chartered Consultancy based in Thames Ditton is looking for a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join their close-knit and growing team. Specialising in luxury, bespoke residential developments across Surrey, London, and the South East, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor eager to work on standout homes for high-net-worth clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Take on a key position in the delivery of one-off new builds and high-spec refurbishments ranging from £500k to £10m
  • Work on luxury, bespoke residential developments across Surrey, London, and the South East
  • Build a portfolio that stands out in the residential market

Requirements

  • A RICS Accredited degree qualification
  • Pre & Post Contract experience
  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience with a UK Consultancy
  • A valid UK driving license
  • High-End Residential project experience is highly desirable but not essential
  • Local to Surrey area

  • Negotiate and place official orders with Subcontractors and Suppliers
  • Manage supply chain orders and financial accounts including variations and valuations
  • Maintain a detailed record of any changes to the tendered design or works on site for the purpose of variations and extra’s
  • Price additional works and obtain written permissions and instructions prior to proceeding
  • Undertake weekly and monthly meetings with client’s representatives to ascertain progress on site, variations, monthly valuations and provide any other additional reports required to meet the clients expectations
  • Manage the conditions of contract which Mountjoy are appointed on
  • Prepare detailed monthly reports including Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) on all projects, cash flow forecast, contractual matters and forecast on financial out-turn
