Job Description:

An esteemed multi-discipline property and construction consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Fire Engineer to join their innovative and professional team. This consultancy delivers high-quality services to both public and private sector developers and housebuilders, with a strong focus on excellence and innovation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure effective communication
  • Conduct risk assessments in line with current legislation and best practices
  • Provide pragmatic and cost-effective advice to mitigate risks
  • Perform Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and compartmentation surveys
  • Assist in the management and development of a small team, leveraging leadership skills
  • Contribute to refurbishment and recladding projects of various scales

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Experience with external wall risk assessments and fire protection work
  • Proficiency in conducting FRAs and compartmentation surveys
  • Knowledge of large and small-scale refurbishment and recladding projects
  • Progress toward professional qualifications such as MIFireE, MIFSM, C Build E MCABE, or CEng
