Job Responsibility:
Process refund and credit requests promptly in accordance with regulatory requirements and Air Canada policies
Apply established procedures, training materials, and reference documents to complete refund and credit functions accurately
Determine refund/credit eligibility using manuals, tariffs, fare rules, and pricing resources
Review customer requests and conduct research to provide accurate and appropriate responses
Apply relevant policies and fare rules to issue correct refunds or decline ineligible requests
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and external partners
Communicate with customers via email and telephone in a professional and service-oriented manner

Experience in the airline or travel industry
Knowledge of ticketing, fares, fare rules, and taxation (asset)
Tariff training
Familiarity with airline and city codes
Experience with GDS or reservation systems
Ability to represent the airline with professionalism, representing the best of the Air Canada brand
Minimum one (1) year office experience
Accounting knowledge, an asset
