Job Description:

The Intermediate Finance Accounting Analyst role integrates in-depth specialty knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices, including analytical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills. It involves tasks such as recording financial transactions, regulatory reporting, general ledger updates, and specialized accounting responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

Supports the management and control of data flows to and within Finance applications to ensure integrity and completeness of data
Prepares and records financial transactions for legal vehicle and regulatory reporting purposes
Updates the general ledger
Prepares consolidated financial statements for management reporting and regulatory purposes
Includes specialized accounting such as equity compensation, securitization, payroll and investment accounting
Identifies and resolves problems using independent judgment
Implements work flow or process change and redesign
Accountable for regular reporting or process administration as 'owner'
Focuses primarily on execution within defined parameters
Assists in the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures or products
Directs day-to-day work of junior level employees
Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made.

Requirements:

4 + years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
