We are seeking an experienced Adobe FrameMaker and SharePoint Online Developer to lead the design and implementation of a Component Content Management System (CCMS). This role is critical for modernizing technical documentation workflows, specifically focusing on complex maintenance and safety manuals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a scalable, structured content environment that leverages reusable objects and automated workflows to support rigorous reliability and safety standards.
Job Responsibility
Develop a CCMS using Adobe FrameMaker 2022 and SharePoint Online to enable the creation and assembly of defined content objects
Create Native PDF templates for structured document types, ensuring compliance with internal standards and requirements
Lead the migration of 500 legacy PDF documents into Structured FrameMaker formats
Integrate FrameMaker 2022 with secondary systems and Adobe products, specifically SharePoint Online and Acrobat
Develop custom components using JavaScript, Python, and Bash scripting to automate document translation and structure
Design and maintain automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to support document production and approvals
Manage document libraries, including permissions, metadata configuration, and version control
Requirements
3+ years of experience with Adobe FrameMaker 2022, with deep expertise in managing structured content and dynamic XML customization
Expert-level skills in JavaScript, Python, and Bash to automate the translation of unstructured documents (.fm, .pdf, .word) into structured formats
Proven experience maintaining SharePoint Online environments and developing workflows within the Microsoft Power Platform
Strong understanding of Component Content Management (CCMS), including reusable content objects and version revisioning
University degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
Ability to distinguish between out-of-the-box functionality and the need for custom-coded components to meet business requirements
