Job Description:

We are looking for an Intermediate Designer to join our growing creative team. This is a team of brand thinkers with a deep passion for social because it’s where culture and audience insights take off. You will join our Toronto office and be expected to work with a fun and enthusiastic group of talented teammates.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responding to client briefs with clear and justified design concepts
  • Speaking clearly about any design decisions and rationale
  • Hacking internet culture through design – finding the brand’s spin on the trend
  • Work proactively on all projects, asking questions when necessary and making use of the knowledge within the creative team
  • Working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing multiple deadlines
  • Autonomy over a range of design aspects across a diverse range of clients
  • Performing agency duties such as attending meetings, participating in presentations, and attending client and industry events when needed

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in design
  • Expert in Adobe Suite
  • Use of AI tools and prompting
  • Adapting brand guidelines through a social lens, in an elevated way
  • Editorial layout skills that can translate to a variety of styles
  • Extensive understanding of typography
  • Great eye for sourcing and retouching photography
  • Ability to create graphics, illustrations and wordmarks
  • Highly proficient in Creative Cloud and Google Slides
  • A proactive can-do attitude
  • Video editing or Animation Experience
  • Passion for culture, creativity, art, design principles, and social media
  • Good time management when working towards conflicting deadlines
  • Confidence to initiate design ideas and ask questions
  • Obsessed with the internet and can speak only in meme language if needed
  • Natural curiosity and understanding of consumer behaviours and mindset in social

Nice to have:

Traditional agency experience is not required, but it’s a plus
