Job Description:

Amentum is seeking a Intermediate Counterintelligence Officer to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conducting CI/Counter Terrorism (CT) investigations across the DOE complex
  • Works closely with the FBI and the USIC to assist in any ongoing espionage, terrorism, or related operations and investigations at responsible facilities
  • Serve as liaison and interface with DOE facility management and local law enforcement agencies surrounding the assigned facility
  • Provides case-related updates to the Senior Counterintelligence Officer (SCIO), facilities senior management and other DOE CI executives
  • Provides CI/CT defensive briefings and debriefings to Departmental personnel in foreign intelligence and terrorist activities/threats

Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Ten (10) years of experience as a CI Officer/agent conducting typical CI program activities to include CI inquiries and/or espionage investigations
  • Must have experience as a primary case agent in counterintelligence case management at DOE, the FBI or DOD
  • Must have advanced interviewing and elicitation techniques
  • Must have demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, and proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Must have functional computer literacy, and be proficient in common computer and network applications
