Job Description:

To create relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial home furnishing solutions that contribute to positioning the IKEA Brand in the local market as the leader in life at home.

Job Responsibility:

Plan, organize, physically implement and maintain assigned area in the IKEA Zagreb Store or in other IKEA locations in Croatia
Create new and inspiring interior design solutions with different IKEA styles that appeal to many individual tastes, needs and budgets
Respect routines and responsibilities and work together with other partnering functions to act quickly to exploit commercial and other opportunities
Understand the impact of your actions on the financial results, and contribute to achieving departmental goals with initiatives that will grow the business and support long-term profitability
Secure high quality, simplicity, efficiency, and cost consciousness in everyday work

Requirements:

Formal education in interior design, architecture or similar
At least 1 year of relevant experience (projects, student work or internship also acceptable)
Portfolio
Passion for home furnishing, retail, design and how people live at home
Love teaching others about it (leading workshops, creating social media content, etc.)
Good communication skills in Croatian and English
Computer proficient with knowledge and experience of using relevant software (e.g., Revit/AutoCAD)
Practical hands-on approach to work (using power tools, climbing ladder, painting walls etc.)
Ability to work in a simple and cost-efficient way with focus on continuous feedback-based improvement
Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities and deadlines/work in a fast retail environment
Take responsibility for your actions
Enthusiastic about assignments and working with others in a team
