GSBS Architects is an award-winning, inter-disciplinary design firm with a collaborative culture that supports career growth and advancement within the firm. We have immediate openings, in our Salt Lake City and Ft. Worth offices, for interior design graduates with 0 to 3 years of experience and strong design sensibility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with design layout for project elements and features
  • Assist mid-level and senior designers with research and selection of colors, finishes and materials
  • Prepare presentation materials at various phases of design
  • Research, compile and record information related to products, finishes and furniture selections for use in design documents
  • Produce building information models and construction drawings
  • Attain mastery of GSBS standards and procedures for documentation and design documentation software
  • Maintain resource materials for interior design library

Requirements:

  • Professional degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited institution
  • 0 to 3 years of experience
  • Strong design sensibility
  • Creative and critical thinking about design problems and solutions
  • Organization and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with project teams
  • Demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness
  • Ability to prepare design studies and presentations using various tools and techniques
  • Ability to assist in producing technical models and construction drawings
  • Working in Revit, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design
