Job Description:

Interior Design coworker position for IKEA's third physical Customer Meeting Point in Bangalore. Responsible for creating meaningful and locally relevant shopping experiences in a compact store format.

Job Responsibility:

Create inspiring home furnishing solutions in room settings, vignettes, and sales areas
Translate customer insights into locally relevant and commercial home furnishing solutions
Contribute to Showroom matrix showcasing various styles, price levels, and living situations
Stay updated on trends in home furnishing and retail
Ensure high-quality and cost-conscious implementation of range presentations
Work closely with Com&In team and other departments
Keep visitor experience in mind ensuring visually appealing, safe, and engaging shopping environment

Requirements:

Education in interior design
Visual competence with strong sense of aesthetics
Ability to draw, visualize, and present ideas
Knowledge of AutoCAD or other relevant design software
Basic communication skills in English
Flexible and hands-on approach to responsibilities
Enthusiasm for teamwork and collaboration

Nice to have:

Experience working in retail or home furnishing
