As a part of the Store Interior Design team you use your deep knowledge and experience of people's life at home and your high level of home furnishing competence to show many functional, beautiful sustainable and affordable solutions that are relevant to your local market. You also challenge and encourage the many people to see their homes in new ways.

Positioning the IKEA Delft store as the first choice for home furnishing in local market
applying home furnishing knowledge and interior design experience to ensure up-to-date room settings and store media
stimulating and increasing interest for home furnishing through new and inspiring solutions
using IKEA product range to show distinct styles
reflecting IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in all areas
securing a vital and local market relevant store every day
Requirements:
Education in interior design or architecture
a few years of experience as an Interior Designer, in an IKEA Store or retail environment
minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven work experience in a similar role
think creatively, have commercial visual competence and a keen eye for aesthetics
actively seek improved methods of working in a simple, lean and cost-efficient way
practical hands-on approach to tasks and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
good communicator with ability to share and transfer knowledge in many different ways
communicate well in English (written and spoken)
knowledge of Revit

Potential and wish to grow within Ikea, with a desire to eventually develop into a manager position
