Job Description:

IKEA London City are looking to welcome an Interior Designer, in IKEA we call this an Interior Design Co-worker. Working in IKEA London City gives you the opportunity to experience a multi-site way of working, across IKEA Oxford Street and IKEA Hammersmith. We're looking for a creative and hands-on Interior Design Co-worker to join our team across Oxford Street and Hammersmith on a secondment basis.

Job Responsibility:

Use Interior Design competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity
Inspire and surprise visitors
Plan inspiring commercial displays for the store
Implement and bring plans to life on the shop floor
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure a seamless shopping experience
Contribute to position the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in local market
Stay updated on trends in home furnishing & retail experience
Work across both IKEA Oxford Street and IKEA Hammersmith

Requirements:

Degree in a relevant creative field
Working knowledge in design software such as Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
Excited about home furnishings, design and how people live
Ability to generate new ideas to inspire customers
Hands-on approach
Comfortable working with various hand tools
Comfortable working at heights
