As an Interior Design Co-Worker, you will design relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial interior solutions that contribute to the positioning of the IKEA brand in the local market as a leader in home living.
Job Responsibility:
Contribute to establishing the IKEA store as the leading home furnishing destination in the local market
Use knowledge of home furnishings to create solutions in room settings, homes, vignettes and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity
Actively contribute to gathering insights from home visits and translating this knowledge into locally relevant, functional and aesthetically pleasing home furnishing solutions that exceed customer expectations and reflect the IKEA approach to home furnishing
Contribute to creating a showroom matrix that reflects a wide variety of styles, living situations and price levels, creating distinct visual impressions at a good tempo
Ensure that all range presentation solutions are planned and implemented with high quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost consciousness, using global tools and best practices
Applying home furnishing knowledge to ensure up-to-date room settings and other store media that exceed our visitors’ expectations
Stimulating and increasing the interest for home furnishing through constantly showing new and inspiring solutions that motivate people to visit the IKEA store frequently
Reflecting the IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in all commercial, sales support and co-worker areas
Requirements:
Design education
Passion for home furnishings
Curiosity and understanding of people's everyday lives at home
Creative mind with strong commercial acumen and an eye for aesthetics
Actively seek to improve working methods in a simple, lean and cost-effective way
Pragmatic approach to tasks
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Computer literate
Knowledge and experience with CAD (REVIT) software
Good language skills in German
Willing to work from Monday to Friday and as well on Saturdays from 7am-4pm
