Job Description:

As part of our IKEA India Way Forward Direction, we have great new job opportunities in Pune – opening a Small Store S and the first physical Customer Meeting Point (CMP). This new store with a size of 2,800 square meters will bring a new way to experience IKEA in one of our important markets as we work towards our goals. We're on an ambitious journey to increase our omnichannel presence to build a loved and trusted IKEA brand in India. Expansion is a key focus to be the No. 1 Home furnishings company in our Mumbai/Pune market.

Job Responsibility:

Create inspiring home furnishing solutions in room settings, vignettes, and sales areas that reflect the IKEA identity
Translate customer insights into locally relevant and commercial home furnishing solutions
Contribute to a Showroom matrix that showcases various styles, price levels, and living situations
Stay updated on trends in home furnishing and retail to drive creativity and innovation
Ensure high-quality and cost-conscious implementation of all range presentations
Work closely with the Com&In team and other departments to execute the store’s action plan
Keep the visitor experience in mind, ensuring a visually appealing, safe, and engaging shopping environment

Requirements:

An education or background in interior design
Visual competence with a strong sense of aesthetics
The ability to draw, visualize, and present ideas
Knowledge of AutoCAD or other relevant design software
Basic communication skills in English
A flexible and hands-on approach to responsibilities
Enthusiasm for teamwork and collaboration
Working in shifts
Willingness to relocate to Pune
