Interior Design Co-worker

• Contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in local market
• Apply home furnishing knowledge to ensure up-to-date room settings and store media
• Stimulate and increase interest for home furnishing through showing new and inspiring solutions
• Reflect IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in commercial areas
• Create home furnishing solutions in room settings, homes, vignettes and sales support areas
• Contribute in gathering insights from home visit interviews
• Contribute to creation of Showroom matrix reflecting variety of styles and living situations
• Secure high quality, simplicity and cost consciousness when planning range presentation solutions
• Stay updated about home furnishing, retailing and trends
• Contribute to department action plan with business growth initiatives
• Minimize disruption and ensure safety on shop floor

• Education in interior design (Preferred)
• Creative thinking supported by commercial visual competence and keen eye for aesthetics
• Actively strive for simple, lean, and cost-efficient ways of working
• Practical hands-on approach to tasks
• Ability to generate, visualise and present new ideas
• Ability to work together with others in a team
• Confident in approaching and communicating clearly with different people
• Available to do any physical works (climbing ladder and handling heavy equipment)
• At least 2-3 years of interior design experience in retail or related background
• CV, CL and Portfolio must be submitted
