Join a Tennessee healthcare organization as their next Interim Vice President, Revenue Cycle! The Interim Vice President (VP), MGSI Revenue Cycle, will be responsible for the oversight of day-to-day financial operations throughout the facility. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this leader will be responsible for leading approximately 5+ direct reports and will focus on ongoing department initiatives including coding, strategic planning, gap analyses, and process improvement. The Interim VP will strive to provide strong leadership and/or mentorship to staff members while focusing highly on implementing and maintaining a positive work environment centered around communication, collaboration, and employee engagement. Seeking an experienced revenue cycle leader who will seize opportunities to optimize financial growth throughout both the department and the organization. Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversight of day-to-day financial operations throughout the facility
  • Leading approximately 5+ direct reports
  • Focus on ongoing department initiatives including coding, strategic planning, gap analyses, and process improvement
  • Provide strong leadership and/or mentorship to staff members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, information technology, and/or related field is required
  • Active Certified Professional Biller (CPB) and/or Certified Professional Coder-Apprentice (CPC-A) certification is strongly preferred
  • ATHENA experience is required
  • A minimum of five years of VP-level experience is required
  • Acute hospital experience at division level and above is required
  • Centralization, acquisition/merger, and offshoring experience is required
