Job Description:

The town of Brookfield is seeking an experienced Interim Town Administrator to work 20 to 40 hours per week, depending upon experience and availability. The Town Administrator performs complex professional, administrative and management work in providing daily control over ongoing town activities, as well as assisting and advising the Select Board to discharge the duties of their office. Providing executive leadership, in areas of policy formulation, fiscal affairs, labor relations, and organizational development, the Town Administrator acts as the agent for the Select Board.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performs complex professional, administrative and management work in providing daily control over ongoing town activities
  • Assisting and advising the Select Board to discharge the duties of their office
  • Providing executive leadership in areas of policy formulation, fiscal affairs, labor relations, and organizational development
  • Acts as the agent for the Select Board
