Join a Southeastern healthcare organization as their next Interim Service Line Director of Neurology! An Interim Service Line Director of Neurology is needed to lead and improve operations across a comprehensive neurology service line in an academic hospital setting. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this director will oversee three primary areas: a Neuro ICU, a Neuro Stepdown unit, and a Neuro Med/Surg unit. Key responsibilities include standardizing nursing practice, assessing policies and staffing plans, leading culture change, and partnering with physicians to enhance accountability and operational performance. The ideal candidate will have deep neurology leadership experience, preferably in an academic medical center. Must be a strong, confident leader capable of navigating challenging personalities and fostering team accountability. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
