A growing organization in the Warsaw, Indiana area is seeking an Interim Senior HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations during a transitional period. This role will partner closely with leadership and employees, ensuring HR processes, compliance, and employee relations continue seamlessly. The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable stepping into a fast-paced environment to provide immediate impact.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and leaders across the organization
Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations, and workplace concerns
Support recruiting and onboarding efforts as needed
Administer HR policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with employment laws and company practices
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
Assist with benefits administration, leave management, and employee lifecycle events
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Support change initiatives and special HR projects as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
7+ years of progressive HR generalist experience
senior-level exposure strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Experience supporting manufacturing or operational environments preferred
Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to quickly adapt and add value in an interim or transitional role
